Wakozi provides online access to delivery services of 45 Manhattan stores. Ten more will be added in the next two weeks and the startup is eyeing expansion into the Hamptons.

Founder Robert Rizzo will present Wakozi tonight at the Web2NewYork networking party at Gallery Bar.

Funji at ITP Spring Show

Students at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) last week held their annual Spring Show. Shinyoung Park showed Funji, a messaging system that combines a Facebook app with an offline collectable.

Shinyoung Park will present Funji at the next Web2NewYork networking party, Tuesday, June 17 at Gallery Bar.

Another Kaltura Fapp

Kaltura releases yet another Facebook app. Facelift lets you give your friends facelifts ‘by decorating their photos, drawing and writing on them; stretching their faces and adding funny icons’.

I have no idea what that means and can’t try it myself since I’ve put my Facebook account on ice when they introduced Beacon. But you can! So try it and let us know what you think.

Fapp finds lawyers with doctors

Murat Aktihanoglu presented his impressive virtual world and social networking mash-up Unype at Tuesday’s Web2NewYork networking party, but has also launched two other Facebook apps – I’ll call them Fapps from now on.

One app uses ‘your social graph’ for recommendations for doctors, dentists and lawyers. More useful than most Facebook apps, although it needs a catchier name and the inclusion of lawyers with the health care providers gives me the willies.

The second app iBarter – good name! – is for exchanging unused stuff with friends. ‘This is not eBay,’ Murat explains. ‘These are your friends.’

Murat adds he has two more apps coming up soon.

Five other companies presented at Web2NewYork; SaneBull, MyItThings, OpenAd, MediaMath and MyHound. Presentation materials can now be found in the download section.

MyHound, TravelersTable launch widgets

MyHound, a site that provides personalized email notifications about favorite performers and artists, has launched a publisher widget. You can see it in action on the Perseus Books site.

MyHound founder Ardy Khazaei will present at Tuesday’s Web2NewYork.

Meeting planner TravelersTable is now available in a Facebook app. The site also introduced the option to sync TravelersTable meeting dates with any calendar in the iCalendar format.
