Labor Day has passed. It’s a good moment to announce a new project. Geoweb Report (and Summit + Expo) will cover the emerging geoweb industry.
Geoweb in my definition is where the digital and physical worlds meet, the convergence of location based services, place-based media and advertising, RFID, GIS, etc.

Bogus ‘user generated company’ Slikstr was a big hit again last night at the always excellent Video 2.0 meetup.
Some even believed the company was real. ‘We’ve created a lot of confusion,’ Neovids-founder Matt Feldman said.

Both Facebook and MySpace lost millions of users between August and September, according to recent numbers from Nielsen Online and ComScore.
Facebook was supposed to become the Google of social networking. It’s not going to happen. Facebook is over the hill and has reached the social networking implosion point.

Excellent new trend: antisocial networking. Enemybook and Snubster allow you to ‘manage your enemies’, ‘disconnect your so-called friends’ and create ‘Dead To Me’ lists. Heh heh.
