VIPTXT gearing up for launch party

Posted by Peter on May 7 under Mobile, nextNY, Marketing

VIPTXTCarrot Creative’s Daniel Love, Mike Germano and Robert Gaafar are launching a new nightlife text messaging service. VIPTXT is currently signing up ‘a ton of bars and clubs in Manhattan’.

The Brooklyn-based startup is planning a big launch party sometime in June, but Daniel Love will unveil VIPTXT at Tuesday’s Web2NewYork networking party at Gallery Bar.

Existing nightlife text message services allow club promotors to ‘relentlessly bombard their customers with text messages’ according to Love. VIPTXT is different in that it allows customers to only receive alerts when they need them.

VIPTXT is targeting New Haven, Hartford and Stamford as a launch pad, before rolling out into New York and other larger cities.
