The second MobileCampNYC took place Saturday. One of the “mobile activists” behind MobileCamp is R/GA producer Andy Maskin.

MobileCamp follows the West Coast-spawned barcamp format. A barcamp is like a regular conference, only more unorganized and unfocused. The agony of a brainstorming session extended to a full day.

Winksite’s David Harper led a discussion on bar codes, the convergence of “realspace” and “mobilespace”. Harper presented at Web2NewYork October.
