Tuesday’s Web2NewYork networking party will have three mobile companies presenting: Thumbplay, Needago (SpotIt) and Winksite’s David Harper with MobileCampNYC2 and Mobile Monday.

Thumbplay will be represented by VP business development Chris Phenner. Their NYC-based competitor Zingy last week left the ringtone business, prompting Silicon Alley Insider to ask what that could mean for Thumbplay. Good question.

Needago’s Joe Fernandez will present their first product SpotIt, that I wrote about here. SpotIt is a platform for finding and ranking trends and generating intelligent recommendations about local points of interest.
