Matt Semel and New York startup For Your Imagination hosted a very inspiring meetup (BigScreen LittleScreen) for online video creatives last Wednesday.

Most newsworthy was a presentation by Ben Relles, the man behind Obama girl. Ben showed the new installment in the series that will premiere next Wednesday. Unfortunately I had to promise him not to reveal any details.

Eric Rochow showed a very entertaining promo montage of his DIY show Gardenfork that was a genuine crowdpleaser.

Comfy couches, free Coronas and white wine added to the good times.

Most of the presented online shows barely have a business model, but with the production infrastructure and audience in place it’s clear creative online video is about to take off, commercially and creatively.
