Babak MaghfourianBabak Maghfourian, CEO of hotspotting pioneer Videoclix, last month at the Future of Online Advertising conference hinted he’s in talks with YouTube and Google.

‘Google is kicking a lot of tires,’ Maghfourian knows. ‘I see a lot of opportunities for us and them and a lot of other companies to work together.’ (more…)

Rethos and Youlicit at W2NY

RethosTwo last minute additions to the line-up of presenters at the Web2NewYork meetup. Toufique Harun will demo Youlicit, a web content recommendation product somewhat similar to StumbleUpon. Alex Salzman will present Rethos, social networking for do-gooders.

David Silverman to present Typo

David SilvermanThe first confirmed presenter for the June Web2NewYork meetup is David Silverman, who’s book Typo: The Last American Typesetter will come out that week. Entrepreneur Magazine named it one of ‘10 Biz Books To Read This Summer’.
